Choosing an interior door
Solid core or hollow core
A solid core door is filled through with a dense core, so it is heavier, feels sturdier when it closes and blocks more sound than a hollow core door. A hollow core door has a light core between its two skins, which keeps it easy to hang and the most affordable kind of interior door. Here, hollow core doors start at $59.99 and solid core doors at $119.99.
Standard sizes
An interior door is sized by width and height in inches: a 30 x 80 door is 30" wide and 80" (6'8") tall, the standard height. The most common widths are 24", 28", 30", 32" and 36", and each has its own page below. Measure the opening, or the old door, before you choose.

What sizes do interior doors come in?
Single doors come 12" to 36" (1'0" to 3'0") wide. Heights are 80", 84" and 96" (6'8", 7'0" and 8'0"). Pairs fit openings from 24" to 72" (2'0" to 6'0"). Each product page shows every width and height it is made in, with the price of each.
Should I buy a slab or a prehung door?
A slab is the door alone, with no jamb or hinges: choose it to replace a door in a frame you are keeping. A prehung door comes hung in its jamb with hinges, ready to set in the rough opening, which is easier for a new wall or a full replacement. Here, 26 doors come as a slab (from $59.99) and 26 doors come prehung (from $89.99).
What jamb depths can I choose?
Prehung doors here come with a 4 9/16", 4 7/8" and 6 9/16" flat jamb. 4 9/16" fits a standard 2x4 wall with 1/2" drywall on both sides and 6 9/16" fits a 2x6 wall. Measure the wall from one finished face to the other and choose the jamb that matches.
